Jim Medall

Jim provides innovative strategies and tactical analyses for C-level executives for products, marketing, and revenue improvement for companies.  We are currently focused on energy resilience micro-grid solutions for large scale commercial and industrial properties as a trusted advisor.

Jim has developed tens of thousands of residential lots in communities from California to the Carolinas. He has initiated and overseen the successful completion of over 50 projects, including several master- planned mixed-use residential communities. His projects have won many prestigious awards – including the National Association of Home Builders' Gold Award for Best New Community in the United States, along with numerous other national and regional marketing awards, including Best New Community in Charlotte for The Palisades. He has pioneered the development of best practices "green"​ land development, and is considered both an innovator and industry leader. In 2008, Medall was named Charlotte’s Green Land Developer of the Year by The Charlotte Business Journal. In 2004, Medall was selected by The Charlotte Business Journal as one of the year’s “40 Under 40” most promising business leaders. In 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 Rhein Medall Communities was named Developer of the Year by the Charlotte Homebuilders' Association. Jim developed 12 of the Top Ten Best Selling Communities in Charlotte from 1998 to 2009.

David Hughes

David was born and educated in the UK and is a seasoned international executive with over 35 years of diverse experience in major corporate and international investment banking, as well as serving as a Founder in Renewable and Green Technology Companies.

David has fulfilled a range of General Manager positions in major international banks including Lloyds Bank and the Sumitomo Bank, both on Wall Street and the West Coast. While at Sumitomo, and the Nomura Daiwa Bank, he served as General Manager of Corporate Market Lending for the Western United States, which included specialized areas of energy and project finance. In addition, he has considerable Securitization Experience in multiple asset classes.

Earlier he worked for Lloyds Bank PLC, New York, NY as a Vice President in the Bank’s Transactional Finance and Private Banking Groups with responsibility for private banking and transactional finance with a portfolio in excess of $15 billion in the late 1980’s. David has additional experience with the U.K. Government and Lloyds Bank International in Latin America. David is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

David has structured a number of cross border equity transactions and has been particularly active in specialty areas as Cross Border Structured Finance, Debt/Equity Swaps, Private Banking, Energy and Project Finance.

His most recent activities have been in the Green Energy Industry where he is a Founder of EV Connect Inc, an Electric Vehicle Technology since 2009. Prior to that, David held a similar position with a Solar Energy Company in Orange County.

David now resides in Palos Verdes Estates in California.
